Skill Acquisition Program
The Omni Care Foundation’s skill acquisition program aims to empower youth by equipping them with diverse trade skills, fostering budding entrepreneurship that taps into emerging markets across Africa. This initiative nurtures young talents, guiding them to reach their full potential over a 12-month period. Each year, 15-30 innovative trade skills are selected and funded, impacting 50 talented young people. Participants are trained by world-class professionals, gaining access to essential training, counseling, and mentorship throughout the project cycle.
To date, 40 youths have been trained in various trades by professionals, with the first program held in Lagos and cross river state. The initiative focuses on equipping young talents with practical, technical, and entrepreneurial skills to boost employability and encourage job creation.
Planning & Strategies
The program also includes a business hackathon, where participants present viable and innovative ideas. Based on their skills, beneficiaries receive resources to help them launch their ventures.
